Eyewear care & support

A better fit.
Ongoing care.

Glasses should feel as good as they look. If yours are slipping, sitting unevenly or simply need a little attention, our optical team is here to help.

Comfort, considered

Small adjustments.
A noticeable difference.

Frames can settle differently with everyday wear. A personalized adjustment can help your glasses sit more comfortably and evenly.

Slipping down your nose?

Bring your glasses in so our team can check how the frame sits and where it needs support.

Pinching or sitting crooked?

We can assess the fit around your nose and ears, including nose-pad and temple alignment.

Not sure what feels off?

Tell us what you notice when wearing your glasses. Seeing them on you helps us understand the adjustment you need.

When something needs attention

Start with a closer look.

A loose component, damaged frame or lens concern is a good reason to get in touch. Bring your glasses to the optical, or contact our team first if you are unsure where to start.

We help service the manufacturer’s warranty on your eyewear. Coverage varies by brand and needs to be reviewed for your particular frame or lenses.

Coverage, claims and cancellation terms

The All in One plan covers cracked or scratched lenses, cracked frames, breakdown due to normal wear and tear, and defects in materials or workmanship for the items protected by your plan. Coverage lasts one year from purchase, with unlimited lens replacements and one frame replacement for covered items. The applicable copay is charged for each replacement order.

Loss and theft are excluded. The plan is nontransferable. Bring your eyewear when making a claim; the original frame must be returned for a frame replacement.

You may cancel the plan at any time. Within the first 30 days, a full refund is available if no service has been received. After that, the refund is prorated for the remaining months, less the value of any service received.

Getting your vision right

Help with your new prescription.

If you are having trouble with new lenses, let us know. Our prescription guarantee is separate from damage protection.

Rechecks and a prescription remake

A recheck is free within 60 days of your exam or eyewear pickup at iDoctor, whichever is later.

Within 60 days of pickup, if an iDoctor doctor changes your prescription or you cannot adapt to single-vision or progressive lenses, one remake is available at no charge in the same frame. A recheck at iDoctor is required, and the original lenses must be returned.

If you still cannot adapt to progressive lenses, we will replace them with lined bifocal or single-vision lenses in the same frame.

What the prescription guarantee covers

Lenses made incorrectly or with a manufacturing defect are corrected at no charge. Scratches or other damage after pickup are not covered by the prescription guarantee; a manufacturer’s warranty may apply. Optional All in One protection covers selected damage under its own terms and copays.

Requested changes to the frame, lens design, material or coatings are charged separately.

A few useful answers

Before you stop in.

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome during office hours. Bring the glasses you would like us to assess or adjust.

What if my glasses are damaged?

Contact our team or bring them in for an assessment. We can explain the available repair and warranty next steps after reviewing your eyewear.

Is aftercare included with my glasses?

Yes. Aftercare is complimentary for the lifetime of the glasses for eyewear purchased at iDoctor. Please ask our team about any specific damage, repair or warranty concern.

What should I know about ordering and pickup?

At least a 50% deposit is required, with the balance due at pickup. Custom orders are final and nonrefundable, and cannot be cancelled once sent to the lab.

If eyewear remains uncollected 60 days from the order date, the order may be cancelled and the deposit is nonrefundable.

What if I provide my own frame?

If you supply your own frame, the risk of frame breakage during lens fabrication or fitting rests with you. Please discuss any concerns with our team before placing your order.

How do I book an eye exam?

Use our online scheduler to choose a date and review appointment options, even when the office is closed. Follow the steps in the scheduler to book your visit.

If your first selected day has no appointments, try another date. Open the online scheduler (opens in a new tab) →

Can’t find a suitable appointment?

If the scheduler doesn’t show a time that works for you, send our team your preferred days and times using the website contact form. We’ll follow up within one business day.

Sending a request does not reserve an appointment.

Which vision plans do you accept?

We accept major vision plans, including VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, Spectera and NVA. Individual benefits, copays and allowances depend on your plan and require verification by our team.

What if I don’t have vision insurance?

You can visit iDoctor with or without vision insurance. For current eye-exam and contact-lens service fees, send our team a question before your visit. We can also help you explore eyewear options for your budget.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Bring your current glasses or contact lenses, insurance card or plan information, photo ID and a list of your medications. Bring any questions you’d like to discuss, too.

How much time should I allow?

We schedule 30-minute eye exams so there is time for your questions. Allow extra time after the exam if you plan to choose glasses or contact lenses.
